Who am I, really? Recently I started to update my CV and resume again and realized the importance of my personality.
How do I see myself? And how do the others see me? What makes me happy and what unhappy? What are my strengths and weaknesses? What are my dreams in life and what do I truly value?
Sometimes it’s important to stop and think about your presence. I decided to find out answers to all of those and other questions before I start to apply anywhere. That way I can have a better understanding of myself and my goals. I think it would be also good for everyone to answer those questions once in a while, even without applying any new job or anything, just to know yourself better. There are few methods to do that. I decided to ask my friends how they would describe me in few words that come to their mind first. But listening your thoughts, feelings, memories and even dreams is good self-practice.
I even took a quick online personality test to see what it says. My result was INTJ personality and holy sh*t it was accurate.
” INTJs are defined by their confidence, logic, and exceptional decision-making, but all of this hides a turbulent underbelly – their emotions. “
” Rather than falling head over heels in a whirlwind of passion and romance, INTJs identify potential partners who meet a certain range of pre-determined criteria, break the dating process down into a series of measurable milestones, then proceed to execute the plan with clinical precision. “
” Active teamwork is not ideal for people with the INTJ personality type. “
It was important to really see my personality on paper and I got some good insights about my strengths and weaknesses. It helps me now to write my resume and apply for jobs since I can more precisely explain why I am good for the job that I am applying to, besides it was a confident boost that I needed.
I’m going to continue my self-searching, have a good weekend you all!
